Welcome to DEEP! Let’s dive into the depths of DEEP, starting with the login page.

DEEP offers the option to 1) register as a new user, 2) login with your account, or 3) use your existing Humanitarian ID. To achieve an optimal DEEP experience, use the latest version of the Google Chrome browser. DEEP works with other browsers to varying degrees; however, the page layout may be a bit strange and some features may be missing. While you're at it, you can also download the Chrome extension here. For information on how to use the extension, see the section on add a source from extension.
Register as a new user
Welcome new users! To register an account, click on the highlighted Register link on the login screen.
Creating a user account means that you supply a first name, last name (family name), organization and email. DEEP will reject an email that is already in use because one email address can be used for only one account. Then you can finish the registration process by checking the I am human box and by accepting the terms of use. Once you have finished the form by selecting the Register button, you will receive an email with instructions to set up your password for DEEP.
Login with Humanitarian ID
If you are a registered user of Humanitarian ID (HID) you can simply connect and login to DEEP by selecting the Login with HID link. Once you have logged in using your HID, DEEP will remember your login information and associate it with your HID.
If you do not have a Humanitarian ID, consider registering a HID; it helps responders coordinate during disasters and crises by providing up-to-date contact lists. As a humanitarian responder, you can create and manage your own profile.

Regular login
When prompted, enter your email address and password and click LOGIN.
Reset your password
If needed, you will be able to reset your password using the Forgot password link by providing the email used during registration, checking the I am not a robot box and following the instructions.
You will receive an email with instructions to reset your password.

Learn about DEEP without registering by clicking on Explore DEEP. This page contains information about projects, users and frameworks. Please refer to the section Navigating DEEP / Explore DEEP for more information.
